The Midnight Gang

I like books by David Walliams because they’re funny and adventurous. This book is about a boy who hated playing cricket, so he always went to the far side of the pitch so he wouldn’t have to do anything. But he was wrong…The cricket ball hit him on the head, so he ended up in the hospital and on a stretcher heading to the children’s ward. When he got there, he had to go to sleep, but once he woke up, he saw The Midnight Gang. The Midnight Gang are a group of kids who leave the ward every midnight to make dreams come true with a man called Porter.

I like this book because it is hilarious and gripping, I think it the best one by David Walliams.
