Local dairy producer Baladna is collaborating with Dadu – Children’s Museum of Qatar to deliver online “Milk Science” workshops this summer.

The workshops are targeted at children ages seven to 11 and will involve various hands-on activities, including making butter and biodegradable plastic.

How to Sign up

The first few sessions will be free of charge for 100 families and will run between July and August. But to have a chance to take part, you will have to enter an Instagram competition, and the Baladna and Dadu pages have listed the requirements as follows:

1- Make a craft with the packaging of a Baladna product.
2- Take a picture or video of that craft and post it on your Instagram account.
3- Tag Baladna and Dadu’s accounts on that post (@baladnaco and @daduqatar) and add the hashtag #dadu&baladna.
4- Tag three friends on that post.

The competition is exclusively on Instagram, and the deadline for submissions is midnight on 13th July 2021. Winners are expected to be announced soon after that date, and the sessions will run on 17th July, 24th July, 31st July, and 8th August 2021.

What You Will Need

Participating families will be asked to buy some materials beforehand. Parents will also be expected to supervise and join in with their children throughout the workshop.

If You Miss the Deadline

The workshops will be available again to the whole public on the 14th, 21st, and 28th of August. Those sessions will cost QR 100 and will run for an hour and a half on Zoom.
