Is the treatment for H.pylori in kids the same as the treatment for adults?

The first line of treatment for H.pylori is the same for both adults and children, with differences in medication dosage and formulation (i.e. syrup vs tablets).

However, when it comes to repeated infections or resistance to the first line of antibiotics, this would require taking a different course of action to treat the condition in children. The second line of treatment is different for children because the medication given to adults may not be suitable for kids. I hope this answers your question.
