A Recipe for Home by Ghenwa Yehia is a book about four friends who thought of having a potluck picnic together. Each of them wants to share a tiny bit of their food from home like fish and chips, sushi, traditional spaghetti, chocolate chip cookies, tabouli and machbous. After that, they agreed to meet each other in the afternoon. They were supposed to bring a dish of food that reminds them of home. It was a hard choice to make but this story taught me that home is a feeling, and if you are surrounded by the people you love or doing something you like, it is home. So by 5pm, everyone got a little piece of their home to share.

I like this book because it teaches us what Home really is. I think this book is also about making food, having fun with friends and being grateful for our life. I also like this book because it has a game activity on the back page.
