The 9th annual Qatar International Food Festival is back this year at Hotel Park in front of the Sheraton Grand Doha from 15–25 March. Last year’s festival included 130 food stalls offering cuisines from all over the world, special cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs and a number of activities for kids. From now to 25 April, families will have a blast at the free Souq Waqif Spring Festival. Featuring live entertainment, 30 different amusement park rides, an outdoor trampoline park, a kids’ driving school and tons of delicious food offerings, this is a festival not to be missed. souqwaqiffestival.qa

The little ones will be wowed by the spectacular boats on show during the Qatar International Boat Show. From 13–17 March at Porto Arabia, The Pearl–Qatar, sneak a peek at the latest in luxury boats visiting from 15 countries around the world. qatarboatshow.com.qa

On Saturday 21 April, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Sergei Prokofiev’s renown children’s symphony, Peter and the Wolf. The programme will be held at Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum at 4pm. Tickets are free and there are no age restrictions. qatarphilharmonicorchestra.org
