meet

Grab a coffee (or tea!) at the Doha Mums New and Expectant Mums Coffee and find your Doha “tribe.” You’ll be able to chat with other mums who have the same questions, and you may even meet your future play date group. Every Thursday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am alternating between the Starbucks at Hyatt Plaza and Quick Bites at the Renaissance Doha City Center.

sweat

New mums pull on your workout clothes and grab your baby carrier for this new babywearing fitness class. Suitable for bubs between two months and two years old, it’s a great way to get in shape and bond with your little one. The class is low-impact (for the sake of the babies), but will still get you moving enough for a good sweat. Mondays at 9:45 am
at Les Ciseaux D’ and Wednesdays at 9:30 am in the Al Mana Hills Compound (West Bay).

splash

Head out to Dukhan, Wakra or any beach far away from light pollution. Settle in for a BBQ while you wait for the sun to set, then don your wellies and go for a stroll through the water. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to see the water flicker and light up as it swirls around your feet. When plankton (microscopic organisms in the water) are disturbed, they emit a light called “bioluminescence” also known as “hours of fun for the whole family.”
