Qatar Foundation is hosting ability-friendly football lessons for kids and adults age five and up in Qatar Academy Al Wakrah until 10 November 2022. The classes run daily between 4 pm and 6 pm and are held in small groups, with each group’s lessons lasting an hour. The size of each group depends on the participants’ abilities. Mix

Embrace Doha invites fragrance fanatics to join their beginners’ Bakhoor Mixing Worship in Souq Al Wakrah. Attendees will have the chance to learn what it takes to create a traditional bakhoor (bukhoor) blend and have a go at making one themselves. Tickets cost QR 400 and are sold online. Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art will display the works of alums from Fire Station’s Artists in Residence programme in the Majaz Contemporary Art exhibition. The artworks are set to explore various perspectives and be diverse in media, with paintings, sculptures, new media pieces, and more displayed. Attendance is free, but visitors must register and get tickets from the Qatar Museums website. The exhibition is expected to continue until 25 February 2023.

Weave

The Weave for Dadu workshop is open to families and children of all ages until 20 September 2022. Come along and learn how to weave a variety of ornaments, from table mats to coasters, which will later form part of Dadu Gardens! The workshop is held in the Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center (Fanar) from 2 pm to 8 pm. For more information, email daduschools@qm.org.qa.
