Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has launched an online appointment referral system. Patients from private medical facilities can now submit appointment requests for HMC clinics online without ever visiting the corporation.
How It Works
To submit a referral request from a local facility, you must follow these steps:
1- Visit hamad.qa and click on the “contact” section.
2- Click on the link to the referral form.
3- Choose the “inside Qatar” option, and enter your health card number.
4- Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to the mobile number your health card is registered under.
5- You will now see your details on the screen. Check that they are correct, then fill in your email and attach a digital copy of your referral letter in the dedicated section.
After completing these steps, you should receive a confirmation text message on your registered mobile number telling you that your request has been received and is under process. Within a few days, you should receive a call from Nesma’ak (HMC’s customer service programme) to arrange an appointment.
